The online marketing world can be a very lonely environment to operate in. Sure you will find many ‘cyberpals’ who will be friendly provided you do stuff for them such as show support for their blogs, articles and products they are trying to sell.

What you won’t find that easily is a person who you trust sufficiently to be honest and who will help you along the way. This is probably one of the more important steps to take when launching yourself into the internet marketing world.

Do you try and find a mentor or coach? Or do you think you can do this one on your own?

If you have worked in marketing all your life you might find the transition to online marketer to be relatively straight forward. You know you need to create a shop window on the Internet, entice people to visit so that you can convert them into customers. And you need to have a good product on offer.

However, if you have never been involved in marketing and sales, starting a new business online could be overwhelming to say the least. You could end up spending most of your time reading about how other people made a fortune.

Then you spend the rest of your time trying to follow the advice sold to you by people who have supposedly made their fortune online. Yet you end up never making one sale or earning any money.

If you think a coach would help you, and for most new online marketers this is a good idea, finding a good one could be the make or break of your online marketing business. It would not be wasted money. It will take you months of online research to find the information you can learn from a good coach in a few hours. What is that worth to you?

Regrettably one of the mindsets prevalent on the Internet is that because it is online, it has to be free. This makes the new Internet marketer think he can find all the relevant information easily available for free.

What it has done is make a huge amount of very mediocre information readily available. The good stuff costs money because experts who have spent a lot of time becoming an expert are entitled to be rewarded for their information. This is as true in the real world as it is on the Internet.

It’s not only that mediocre information is available for free, it also means you may have limited knowledge of what marketing on the Internet is all about. You are at the mercy of people who pretend to be experts and who sell you information that isn’t worth paying for.

Not only does it cost you a lot of time to get yourself up to speed as an online marketer, but it could also cost you money as you buy into the promises offered by so called experts.

You need to weigh up then whether you are prepared to pay for a good coach and consider this an investment in your business, or whether you are willing to spend months on trying to find out all the information for yourself.

Have you been working online for a short time? Have you asked yourself the question, “Where do I go next?” I know I did that for a while until I got myself a coach. Many people may not need a coach, but if your not making very much money yet a coach is a good way to help you get moving forward faster. If you take some time and talk to the people that are making more money than you that could help you out as well.

There are a lot of people out there who are making less than $150 a month and think they’ll be able to make a full time income working at home. They feel like by buying more and more books and downloading lots of e-books is going to help them when they should actually take the advice from someone who is already making a lot of money online.

Trust me, I know it’s hard to give in and say you need help. That is just human nature. To make money online you need the help of an Internet marketing coach so you know exactly what to do. If it were easy, there would be so many people making money online. In fact, it’s not as easy as it sounds. I’m sure you’ve seen people who say they work a few hours a day and make money online. I have a coach and I work around 40 hours a week but make a good amount of money doing it. There are a lot of tricks and tips that a coach will give you. Mine has taught me how to properly write articles, utilize PPC, and how to promote properly.

You have to think. Are you that person who believes they can get something for doing nothing? You’ve got to understand that if you really want to make a lot of money and you just aren’t doing it yet, a coach will put you through to the next level by helping you out.

Now I ask you, are you that person who wants to make good money online? Get yourself an Internet marketing coach. You need the advice of someone who has done it before and knows the ropes. They are there to help you and want you to succeed.
