As with all things in life, including business opportunities, not everything is rosy in the world of internet marketing. There are certainly several key issues that anybody venturing into this field needs to be aware of.

Regardless of what the many many so called experts tell you, the internet does not present many get rich quick opportunities. In fact the number of people who have never made one single sale outstrip the numbers of internet millionaires by many. A large number of people leave the web disillusioned and wondering how they managed to get talked into trying internet marketing in the first instance.

It’s also so very easy for somebody to state online that they have made millions by doing x, y and z. The question in your mind should be, why are they still trying to sell you their product at $77.00? Surely if they are such amazingly successful business people they don’t need to play around with cheap silly products anymore.

It’s different when the business is bricks and mortar and one can actually see it. The Wal-Marts and McDonalds of this world have made money for their shareholders. Bill Gates and Steve Jobs definitely have been successful so has Richard Branson of Virgin fame. But do you trust a Joe Blogs with a cheap site to be telling the truth that he has in fact made a huge bundle of dollars? You probably shouldn’t.
